Fabric Description
Hard buff fabric, small brown inclusions, lustrous slip and lustrous paint.
Description
Flat rim, short concave neck, and vertical handles (missing) with two perforations on upper part of handle.
Decoration
Rim decorated with groups of parallel chevrons, the interior of the rim and the exterior collar are painted solid; the shoulder zone is decorated with a chariot group to the right. The horses, with double heads, and eyes are rendered in silhouette and the charioteer, partly preserved, drawn in outline, his robe filled in with dots, a parallel chevrons in a diagonal row above the reins and a horizontal row of quirks below; on the right, below the horse a stylised flower and a horizontal band below.
