Fabric Description

Hard pink buff fabric with dark and white inclusions, lime spalling on surface, matt buff slip on exterior only and washy reddish brown to dark brown paint.

Description

Upper part is preserved. Flat out-turning rim, two opposing horizontal handles, one missing.

Decoration

Decorated with schematised tree motif, a goat to the left drawn in outline, the body filled with vertical lines, of which only the hind part is preserved. On the right of the schematised tree there are two vertical bands; on the other side there are two antithetic birds, drawn in thick outline, on either side of a tree, the body filled with vertical lines. Encircling bands below and solid paint on the rim and handle.
