Fabric Description
Orange buff, hard fabric with small white and dark inclusions and fugitive dark brown paint. Slightly lopsided, possibly the rim was compressed during the firing process. Slightly blistered interior.

Description
Slightly out-turning rim, roughly biconical body, raised flat base, horizontal handles on carination.

Decoration
Decorated with a series of three birds  with open wings and long beaks flying to the right on each side of the handles. They are drawn in outline and filled with diagonal strokes. The two friezes are separated from each other with two vertical parallel lines filled with diagonal strokes. The interior and exterior rim is decorated with a band of paint; two parallel encircling bands on carination, one on the lower part and one on the base as well as one band on the interior.
